Info about peace
PEACE is a project meant to connect many different researchers and institutes together.
The goal of this project is to create conversations between scientists who didn't know each other before. This will help them find more creative solutions to their research and create a community of peace research in Europe.
There are many scientists in the network.
For example, from these areas:
- politics,
- biology,
- and geography.
The scientists do research together.
Research means: Experts study a specific topic. They want to discover something new and answer questions.
The research done by scientists in the PEACE network is about for example:
- Women's rights,
- Climate change,
- Protests,
and Europe's place in the world
PEACE is a project meant for scientists to understand how these things work.
PEACE is a great project for scientists to talk and learn together.
The scientists want to understand how these things are important and how we can keep the peace in the world.
PEACE receives money for conferences, research, and coordination.
Conference means: a large gathering where scientists learn and meet each other.
The money comes from the European Union, from the COST action program.
But PEACE can decide for itself what it wants to research and how it operates.
