As the world faces the potentially devastating consequences of wars, pandemics, climate change, displacement and hunger-related deaths and suffering, there has never been a greater need to rethink and make peace. This Action will therefore progress beyond the state of the art by focusing on five key challenges for peace and security in the coming years, taking into account a transdisciplinary approach and the inclusion of different stakeholders that otherwise do not get a voice in the discussions on peace and security. The five perspectives the challenge will be approached from, are:
